A Few Final Notes
My favorite thing within walking distance of our place has to be the peaceful neighborhood itself. I love how quiet and relaxing it is—you can take a morning walk, sip your coffee on the front porch, or unwind in the big backyard and just enjoy the calm. It feels like a little retreat, but you’re still super close to everything in Louisville!
Another one of my favorite things nearby is the Bon Air Library—it’s just a short drive from the house. When our daughter was little, we’d go there for story time, which was always such a sweet and cozy experience. Afterward, we’d walk over to nearby Farnsley Park for an outdoor lunch and some playtime. I have so many precious memories of those afternoons—watching her laugh, play, and sometimes jumping in to play right alongside her. It’s a simple, lovely part of Louisville life that I still cherish.
