Welcome to our cozy home located in north San Jose / South Bay Area. It is a 1800 sq ft 2-story house with 4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, full kitchen, private backyard, and dedicated parking space. It's clean, bright and spacious; conveniently located with easy access to San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose and everything else in between. Whether you are in town for business or leisure, we trust you will find comfort and convenience in our lovely home.
Guests have access to the entire house except for one pantry room next to the kitchen where we keep our cleaning supply; includes the following amenities:
- Kitchen: we provide you everything you would need to cook a full meal including basic cooking tools, pots/pens, bowls, plates, glasses, utensils
- Basic appliances include kettle, coffee maker, toaster, rice cooker, microwave, oven, dishwasher, heater, TV, and DVD player
- High-speed Wifi
- Clean linens & towels, hair dryer
- Iron and ironing board
- 2 dedicated driveway side-by-side parking and 1 free pass to a street parking nearby
- Washer and dryer in the garage – feel free to use
- Bathroom: 2 full bathrooms (with shower) at the second floor and 1 half bathroom at the first floor [we have just renovated (summer 2019) all three bathrooms in the house! They are very clean and tastefully designed to provide a comfortable shower environment to you. Come and enjoy!]
*Please note: we do not have AC in the house. Our area has comfortable temperature throughout the year except for some of the summer days that may get hot during daytime. During the hot summer days we have furnished our bedrooms and living space with fans; with the fans running and the windows open together can help increase circulation and ventilation to keep the house cool. Temperature normally drops down to low/mid 60s by nightfall so the house will cool down quite a bit or can be chilly at night. (Note the temperature control panel is for heating in winter!)
The Neighborhood
Our house is located in a very convenient location with 5 to 10 mins away from four major freeways 101, 880, 680 and 280 that take you to San Francisco, Oakland, Palo Alto, Berkeley, Napa Valley, Half Moon Bay, Monterey, Carmel etc.
*Please note, we are rather close to San Jose Intl Airport (about 15 mins drive) but not San Francisco Intl Airport (requires a good 45-50 mins drive)!
- Short drive to grocery stores and all types of supermarkets (sprouts organic market, Ranch 99 the Chinese market, Costco, Target, Walmart, Whole Foods); and all other services/entertainment you may need (post office, pharmacy, gym, massage, beauty service, yes even Casino…)
- Walking distance to parks (with kids playground) and golf course
- Enjoy your shopping at the Great Mall (one of the largest indoor outlet mall in the US), Santana Row, Valley Fair (with Nordstorm, Macys) – within 10 to 20 mins drive away
- 10 to 15 mins to Caltrain station which takes you up to various cities along the Peninsula (Mountain View, San Mateo) and into San Francisco
